So today I started off by visiting a client for 3 hours to do routine server and network maintenance. So exciting! Not really, yet I do have my own office with a desk and great view of the North End and The TD Banknorth Garden. Thanks to the owner of the company who's worth hundreds of millions of dollars. The lobby of the office has a coffee table in the waiting area that is covered in magazines like Yachting and Forbes. It's great because he rocks an iPhone and is totally in to his technology. I will include a picture or two on the spectacular views on this somewhat dreary morning. We are expecting snow today, some of it may be in the mountains! Although I am not skiing this weekend, I do always pray for more snow.
So as I finish up my basic tasks, which I will refrain from boring you with, I soak up the rest of my time, surfing the Internet and obviously updating my blog (as you can see). I have found probably one of the coolest news websites I've ever seen, http://www.sky.com/. The stories are super random, and the layout is almost overwhelming, yet so is the news it supplies. After reading a short article about a 34 yo mother, who posed as her 15 yo daughter and attended high school and cheerleading practice, I realize that I should probably do the same thing! It sounds like a blast, I mean, this woman even went to a pool party at the coaches house (as described in the article). Are you kidding me?! That's awesome! How did she do it? Does she really look 15? Those are some good aging genes, no? Too bad she's now in a mental hospital, wearing bunny slippers and finger painting. Hey, we all want to re-live the "Dream" some days..
Well, I'm obviously not going to be able to swing that shenanigan. Anyways, I believe that I will also be signing up for another blogging website named Twitter (http://twitter.com/). Apparently everyone is on this site and my buddy Nulty highly recommends the site. I have also updated my Facebook, letting people know that I have just booked my flight to Jackson Hole, WY. Just felt like bragging a little, =P I leave on March 18th and will be there for just over a week and plan on skiing all day, every single day. This means I must be in superb shape, for I will be doing mostly backcountry with a lot of hiking with my skis on my back. I am super excited and can't wait.
Enough for today, I feel if I write too much in one entry, you will lose intrest half-way through.
Cheers -JJ
